Chloe Sanders

Chloe Sanders is a Los Angeles-based entertainment writer with over a decade of experience covering Hollywood's biggest moments. With a background in public relations and a lifelong passion for pop culture, she focuses on the human stories behind the headlines. When she's not tracking red carpet trends or exclusive interviews, she's likely binge-watching classic 90s rom-coms with her rescue dog, Barnaby.

Hi, I’m Chloe Sanders, a Los Angeles-based entertainment writer and the voice behind Celeb Glance. If you’ve ever wanted celebrity news that feels like a friendly catch-up with your pop-culture-obsessed best friend, you’re in the right place.

The vibe: fun, current, and kind. (With receipts when they exist.)

I cover red carpets, premieres, press tours, and the moments everyone’s group chat is talking about. What I care about most is the part that rarely makes the biggest headlines: the human story underneath the glitter, told with care and sourced responsibly.

Creds, quickly: You can find my work and updates on my author page, which is the most up-to-date place for recent bylines, topics, and what I’m currently covering.

A quick note on “I” vs “we”: Most posts are written and edited by me. When this site says “we,” it refers to Celeb Glance editorially, and it may include clearly labeled guest contributors when applicable.

How I got here

I was born and raised in the Midwest, where I treated award season like a sport. I’d study red carpet looks like they were homework, and I read entertainment magazines cover-to-cover until the pages practically fell out. While other kids had posters of bands, I had mental notes like, “Okay, but who styled that?”

In my early twenties, I moved to Los Angeles with big dreams and a very realistic budget. I started out in public relations in a junior role, which taught me a lot about how Hollywood works behind the scenes. It also taught me something else quickly: I didn’t want to spend my career spinning the story. I wanted to tell it.

Today, I report and write entertainment news with a focus on accuracy, context, and empathy. If you want the specifics of where my work has appeared and what I’ve covered recently, that lives on my author page so it stays verifiable and current.

Why Celeb Glance

Celebrity news can be wildly entertaining. It can also get harsh fast. Somewhere along the way, the internet decided that being “in on the joke” meant being cruel, and I’ve never been comfortable with that.

Celeb Glance is my answer to a simple question: what if celeb coverage could still be fun, juicy, and up-to-date, but also fair, well-sourced, and non-exploitative?

I believe you can love pop culture without treating real people like disposable characters.

This site is a space for fans who want to celebrate Hollywood, not tear it down.

What to expect

Think of Celeb Glance as your feel-good entertainment roundup with standards. We’ll talk about the big stuff, the buzzy stuff, and yes, the romantic plot twists, but we’ll do it with context and care.

  • Celebrity news with empathy: We keep it respectful, especially when stories involve health, family, grief, or mental well-being.
  • Behind-the-scenes reality: I’m fascinated by the work it takes to make the magic, from press junkets to costume fittings to creative risks on set.
  • Philanthropy and advocacy: I love spotlighting the causes stars support, and the quieter ways they show up when cameras aren’t flashing.
  • Red carpet style, but personal: Fashion is fun, and it’s also storytelling. We can celebrate a look without shredding a person.
  • Smart, friendly commentary: You’ll get wit, not snark. There is a difference, and I take it seriously.

My standards

I’ve worked long enough in entertainment to know two things can be true at once: celebrities have immense privilege, and they are also real people with boundaries, bad days, and complicated lives.

So here’s what I aim for every time I hit publish:

  • Accuracy first. If something is a rumor, it stays labeled as a rumor. If it’s not verified, we don’t pretend it is.
  • Primary sources when possible. Public statements, verified posts, court records, and on-the-record interviews come first. If a claim traces back to “a source on social media,” we treat it like what it is.
  • Context matters. I care about the why behind a headline, not just the what.
  • Respect always. No body shaming, no pile-ons, no cruelty disguised as commentary.
  • Corrections are clear. If we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and note what changed. (Our process is outlined in the policy linked below.)
  • Privacy boundaries. I avoid invasive paparazzi content and do my best not to drag private individuals and minors into the spotlight. When images are used, we prioritize event photography, official studio images, and posts shared by the people involved.
  • Disclosures stay obvious. Sponsored content, gifted items, affiliate links, and any other material relationships are labeled. If we use AI tools in the workflow, we disclose that in our policy as well.

Off the clock

When I’m not tracking red carpet trends or chasing the little details that make a story feel real, you can usually find me binge-watching classic 90s rom-coms with my rescue dog, Barnaby, who has never once pretended to care about my thoughts on award show seating charts. (He’s a tough editor.)
